How I listed entrants:
My intake widget gave me a list of entries each day and each entrant recieved a number in the order it was received. A total of exactly 300 entries were recieved.
How I chose the winning entry:
My husband, each of my two daughters and I chose a number between 0 and 301. I added those four numbers and divided by 4.
My number: 16 (my favorite since I was a kid)
My DH’s #: 193
My DD1’s #: 17
My DD2’s #: 236
Total: 462/4 =115.5
I called the family for a tie-breaker; 115 or 116? 1 vote for 115 and 2 votes for 116…so…
