As a reader I completely understand how difficult it is to take a risk on a new author. Not only the money, which in itself is significant, especially for a trade paperback, but the time. And for me, the hope. I’m always so hopeful the next new author I read will add something special, something fresh, something exciting to my world. These are things I consider when I write…and revise, and revise, and revise. :^)
