Jade Dupree is running for
her life. She is
a famous mystery author and one of her fans is less than
pleased with her latest work. His stalking turns to
obsession, and his obsession turns violent. After Jade’s agent is
murdered, and her New York penthouse sprayed with bullets, she
assumes her childhood name, Jenna Montgomery,
and runs with her daughters to the quiet town of
Waterbury, Vermont.
But her newly designed world is tipped off balance when
she acquires a cop as her landlord and neighbor—a caring,
handsome detective for Waterbury police.
Cole
Spenser is curious about his new tenants. A single mother with
two small girls brings out his caretaker instincts, and
Jenna’s evasive manner peaks his interest. In the midst of their
developing relationship his attention is refocused as, one by
one, young women are murdered in a peculiar style. During his
investigation, New York police show up, claiming Jenna is
suspected of her agent’s murder, and Cole is caught between
love and duty; a need to prove Jenna innocent while struggling
to solve multiple murders.
Cole soon discovers NYPD
isn’t the only entity who’s followed Jenna to Vermont. With each murder, his
investigation evolves to reveal a stalking fan turned serial
killer, and Cole finds himself in a race to catch a killer who
is eerily close the woman and children he
loves.

Cassandra Christo
is on a quest for answers. A yacht explosion off
the coast of San Diego has taken Cassie’s beloved mother and
stepbrother. San
Diego Harbor Police are calling it an accident, but Cassie has
serious doubts.
After completing her medical residency, Cassie travels
back to her childhood home on the Pacific Coast of Baja,
Mexico. There she
fulfills her mother’s last wish, building a community medical
clinic while launching her own investigation into the
accident. But
Cassie runs into one big obstacle—Rio
Santana; a man who crept into her heart with a deep
show of compassion during her darkest moment.
Rio is in way over his head. His undercover
assignment as an agent for U.S. Immigration and Customs
Enforcement blew into a national safety issue when Saul
Flores, Cassie’s stepfather, branched from plying the U.S.
with illegal Mexicans to the lucrative business of smuggling
terrorists over the border. Rio is weeks away from
nailing Flores when Cassie shows up, digging and putting Saul
on edge. His
physical and emotional draw toward her is yet another
complication in this assignment he doesn’t need.
Cassie won’t rest until she uncovers the
reasons behind the accident and exposes Saul for the criminal
he is. Rio knows if Cassie finds her answers, his mission and
his cover are blown, throwing a year of work down the toilet
and endangering both their lives.

Doctor Sophia
Castillo is battling an overwhelming sense of failure
after the tragic loss of several patients. With plans to spend some
time by herself, healing, she heads to
Brazil for two
weeks of research for her father's pharmaceutical
firm. But her short sabbatical turns into the adventure of her
life. She is
exposed to poisonous snakes, crocodile attacks and ancient
tribal medicine. But those dangers hardly compare to the deadly civil
war going on all around her. While Jordan McBride becomes her safety
net against physical threat, he is also a hidden danger to her
heart. He
challenges instead of coddling, admires instead of placating,
confronts instead of acquiescing. Her equal in so many
ways.
Jordan has been hired to protect Sophia during her
visit. He expects
a spoiled, rich city-girl, but when each layer of her
personality is peeled away to reveal a strong, compassionate,
gracious woman, he finds himself drawn to her on numerous
levels. While
he’s committed to her safety, he also has his own demons to
battle. Ernesto
Valencia wants the Indian’s land for his own greedy intentions and is willing to kill to get it.
When the
mounting danger explodes, Jordan and Sophia's resolve to heal individual
torment is tested against their feelings for each other and
the safety of a tribe they’ve both come to love.

Liliana Casparian’s carefully
rebuilt world is about to be shot to hell. Noah
Gray is back after ten long years, and he’s brought a
tangled web of danger with him.
He’d once been Lili’s soul-mate, or so she
thought until the day he walked away. Now, Noah’s taken a
managerial position in Radiology at St. Luke’s Medical Center
where they will interact everyday.
To Lili this is an uncomfortable
coincidence. She
has no intention of letting him near enough to hurt her
again. For Noah
it’s a second chance, the hand of fate bringing them back
together. But
problems follow him from Washington to California; an
almost-ex-wife who isn’t ready to let go, and a gravely ill
step-daughter who he loves like his own.
Noah’s presence
opens a floodgate of emotions for Lili, waking her dormant
empathic abilities and spurring prophetic dreams. As
Lili comes to terms
with these unsettling episodes and begins to allow Noah into
her heart again, her very life is threatened. Harassing phone calls,
terrifying mail, stalking and a murder attempt on Lili’s life
set up yet another set of road blocks on their path toward a
new life together.
Lili and Noah must decide if
their love can span the chasm of deception, betrayal, and pain
from both the present and the past.
